Maja Carltoft

About Me:

My name is Maja, who runs Ctoft, and I live in Gothenburg. I studied design alongside my master's in communication and have been designing posters under the name Ctoft since 2015. Over the years, my technique has moved from digital via pencil to watercolor. Today I also make portraits and illustrations to order and regularly exhibit original works in watercolor. The motifs here at Soposters come from the collection Poptopia, which flirts with 60s pop art with graphic black and white elements, and from the collection Postcards from Gothenburg, which pays tribute to famous landmarks in the city which is my home. My designs are often characterised by color and humor and the collection includes colorful flowers, wild children and strong women.
