Annie Hjälmefjord

About me:

My name is Annie Hjälmefjord and I am a graphic designer and illustrator living in Lädja, 3 miles north of Växjö, Sweden.

I am inspired by traditional animation, detailed patterns and exciting color combinations. My illustrations and designs often consist of playful characters, plants and humor. I use both traditional painting methods such as gouache and ink, but also digital tools.

I work with pattern design, illustration, animation and graphic design. In my work, I focus on sustainability, above all social sustainability with a conscious children's perspective.

I have a master's degree from the Child Culture Design program at the University of Design and Crafts (HDK) in Gothenburg. I previously have a bachelor's degree in Design and sustainable development from Linnaeus University in Växjö.
