This design print by Sara Helsen belongs to her Chairs and Things series, a collection that takes ordinary objects and gives them a more imaginative setting. What began with a simple spindle-back chair and tulips gradually evolved into a group of artworks exploring new combinations, shapes, and ideas.

As Sara puts it: "Chairs and things: another print series! I really enjoy taking one idea and letting it grow into a whole collection. It all started with the spindle-back chair and tulips, which became the mother of the series."

The everyday inspiration gives the artwork a familiar feel, while Sara's distinctive approach keeps it playful and slightly unexpected.

Productmaterial

We print on vegan, matte 210 gsm Fine Art paper from the German paper manufacturer Hahnemühle, whose history dates back to the late 16th century. Hahnemühle uses only pulp sourced from FSC- or PEFC-certified forests. The paper mill is located within a protected nature reserve, ensuring that production is both environmentally responsible and carefully regulated.

As the paper is acid-free and meets all requirements of the ISO 16245 standard, our posters are exceptionally age-resistant and can last for more than 100 years under proper conditions.
