“Sometimes inspiration hits you out of nowhere. I created this artwork after visiting a friend who had painted such an incredible portrait. She had used different colours to create shadows and highlights across the face in a way that was both beautiful and expressive. As soon as I got home, I opened my computer and returned to a sketch of a woman that I liked, but never felt was quite finished. Those colourful shadows were the missing piece. After experimenting for a while, everything finally came together, and the result became the artwork you see here.” — Anneli Andersson

Jag är uppvuxen i Göteborg, där jag bor och skapar posters vid sidan av mitt arbete inom reklam. När jag gör postrar låter jag fantasin flöda fritt och behöver inte hålla mig till några förbestämda regler, teman eller tekniker. Min inspiration får jag av allt ifrån staden, naturen och andras konst, till musik och mitt egna och andras hem. Ibland skapar jag helt digitalt och ibland med pensel och färg, men oftast resulterar det i en blandning av abstrakta mjuka former blandat med analoga texturer och element.

Productmaterial

We print on vegan, matte 210 gsm Fine Art paper from the German paper manufacturer Hahnemühle, whose history dates back to the late 16th century. Hahnemühle uses only pulp sourced from FSC- or PEFC-certified forests. The paper mill is located within a protected nature reserve, ensuring that production is both environmentally responsible and carefully regulated.

As the paper is acid-free and meets all requirements of the ISO 16245 standard, our posters are exceptionally age-resistant and can last for more than 100 years under proper conditions.
